The lyrics of Walter Brennan's old song reminds us that, "It takes a heap of livin' to make a house a home..."  The amount of living this huge, gray brick house, the Uptown B & B, has seen over the years more than qualifies it as a home. Built in 1912, this house has been owned continuously by the George family for nearly 80 years.  Generations of families have lived and grown in this solid, well-built house, forging nearly a century of wonderful memories.
